Greetings From Afghanistan
Greetings from Afghanistan is a 3-part series showcasing a travel guide, poster, and postcards. I wanted to focus my theme on my home country Afghanistan and show the true side of it to the viewers. For decades, Afghanistan has been holding the title of the most dangerous country in the world, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Sadly, the media has done an excellent job of making sure Afghanistan is feared and avoided at all costs. Afghanistan is filled with rich culture, history, achievements, and the most hospitable people you will ever meet. This project focuses on bringing attention to Afghanistan and introducing it in a better light in hopes people will one day visit and see the beauty of the country for themselves. I hope to inspire the audience through my work and change any negative viewpoints they might initially have.
